1. AAAS-TWAS Course on Science Diplomacy

What: An annual summer course on science diplomacy to be held on 17-21 June 2024 in person in Trieste, Italy.

For who: Early-Career Scientists from science and technology lagging countries (STLCs) PAIRED with a policymaker from the same country

2. BioInnovate Africa Fellowship for Women Scientists (BA-FWS)

What: A fellowship for for early and mid-career women scientists in East Africa.

For who: Female nationals or residents of the 8 East African countries with at least a masters degree in science fields,  affiliated to a university, research institute, or a legally registered private firm

3. Structural Transformation of African Agriculture and Rural Spaces (STAARS) fellowship

What: Fellowship for early career researchers to advance rigorous, policy-oriented research on the causal determinants of productivity and income growth, asset accumulation, rural employment and risk management in African agriculture and rural spaces.

For who: Early career researchers; either Ph.D. students in their final year prior to degree completion or preferably those who completed their Ph.D. no earlier than 2018.
