Here is a few things I found interesting lately. 

1. I thoroughly enjoyed this podcast on "Biology, chemistry and history" of coffee, the magic plant. Listen to it on Google podcasts 

2. ChatGPT named as one of the scientists of the year by Nature. Competitor or collaborator? Read more here

3. Pseudomonas aeruginosa is a common microbe we routinely culture in the lab for teaching and research purposes. It's such a versatile and resilient bacterium. This article named P. aeruginosa as a microbe of the month in this cell article (not open access though ☹️)
